Mountain Works

MW CrewThis annual summer program takes young people into the Cascades Mountains for six days of trail maintenance, camping, environmental education, and fun. No experience is necessary. Mountain Works is is run jointly by the Greenway Trust and EarthCorps. For more information download the Program Description (.pdf). Each session is 6 days long, Monday through Saturday and will be at one of two locations near North Bend, WA. 

***2008 UPDATE: We are currently reorgainizing the Mountain Works program and unfortunately, will not hold sessions this upcoming summer.  We look forward to a new, improved Mountain Works in 2009.  We hope you join us then!***

Who is eligible to participate?

Young people age 13-18 who like to work hard, get dirty, enjoy beautiful views, try new things, camp outdoors, and have a great time.

To Register

1. Fill out the 1-page Registration Form (pdf), neatly and completely. All youth volunteers must fill out the bottom half of this form.

2. Fill out the appropriate Parent/Guardian Permission Form based on your first choice of project site.

A confirmation packet will be mailed out by June 1st with a full packing list, description of the projects, directions to the orientations and other key information.
